Before law, Atty. Liza built a career in technology and public health — and that foundation now shapes how she practices: organized, research-driven, and hands-on with every detail of a case.
Lumacang Law is run by Atty. Merliza Ann T. Lumacang — Atty. Liza to clients and colleagues alike. She holds a B.S. in Computer Science, graduating Magna Cum Laude from Father Saturnino Urios University in 2017, before going on to earn her Juris Doctor from the University of Cebu School of Law in 2025. She passed the Philippine Bar Examinations that same year and was admitted as a full-fledged lawyer in February 2026. Alongside her legal training, she brings hands-on experience in IT support and administration, as well as a specialization in telemedicine initiatives from her time in public health service.
Atty. Liza took her oath as a full-fledged member of the Philippine Bar in February 2026, following her admission after the 2025 Bar Examinations.
Legal help shouldn't stop at the office door. Consultations are available in person, over the phone, or via Microsoft Teams, so distance is never a reason a matter gets delayed. Whether you're across town or on the other side of an island chain, the same level of attention and responsiveness follows you.
A technical degree most attorneys don't have, applied directly to how cases are organized, tracked, and documented.
Hands-on experience in IT support, administration, and project management means a practice that runs on process, not guesswork.
A strong foundation in research and report generation means findings are documented clearly and cases are built on solid ground.
Proficient in drafting legal documents and handling the admin work — email management, data entry, scheduling — that keeps a case moving.
Prior work in public health service, specializing in telemedicine initiatives, brings a working understanding of healthcare systems into her legal practice.
A solo practice means you speak with the attorney handling your case — not an associate or an intake team.
